2nd last day officially at SAL, and I've arranged to go out for lunch with my seniors in my department. Main reason other than my 'leaving' is that it's my senior - Rebecca's birthday the next day. So we decided to celebrate it all together with a sumptuous meal at Sushi Tei.

The funniest thing was that this other senior was on half-day leave & decided to meet us at the restaurant. Then hor... she went to the wrong restaurant -> even better... wrong shopping centre... -_-"

Okay lor, we didn't know to laugh or to cry when we got to the restaurant and we couldn't find her when she said she is already in the restaurant. =p Anyway, she managed to make it over in time and lunch went on. =)

After lunch, we managed to get Rebecca to go back first with Kayee - and the 3 of us went to buy a cake for her. =) And it's great that Rebecca is such a nice person to everyone, cos we asked the Bistro staff to let us celebrate her birthday down at the Bistro. Hee.. All thanks to Kim Leng's idea! hee.. Then we don't even need to worry about getting serviettes to serve the cake! haha.. We had a silver tray to serve the cake on, a proper knife, and porcelain dishes.. haha...

About 4pm, I'd just msged Audrey how were we gonna get Rebecca down to Bistro without arousing her suspicions, when KL just asked Rebecca in a very matter-of-fact tone to go with her to the Bistro to the meeting. Hee.. Rebecca was totally confused and really tot that there was a meeting w the Bistro's Exec Chef. The minute they stepped out the door, we called KY, and rushed down to the Bistro. It was so hilarious - KY had gone into the back room where KL & Rebecca were seating, and Rebecca was like, "How come KY is here?" So KL actually told her that she was here to take notes fo the meeting!! hahaha... amazing...

Anyway, here enters Audrey, me & Eric w the cake on a silver platter.. =D The cake was really nice!! Chocolate - & it has those crunchy layers in between too.. (WIsh i could show you all the cake we bought for Rebecca, but too bad, we were too fast, and ate it all up before I even thought of taking a photo of it... Haha..)
