CATS...

Just went to watch the CATS Musical on Saturday! It's really good - they sing, they dance, they do acrobatics! Just about everything.. Incredibly talented. No wonder it's a "World class musical" - not just any actor can play these roles...

The dances are very well cheoreographed, and the dancers are very professional. The dance is almost perfect! =D And at the same time they are dancing around, they can still sing - pitch perfect! Really hats off to them..

"Cats is an award-winning musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber based on Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats and other poems by T. S. Eliot. The show has been performed around the world in numerous productions and has been translated into more than 20 languages. "

This is the cat i like most, Victoria! A pure white kitten gifted in dancing. The "official" Jellicle Ball begins with her solo dance.

And my favourite song is Memory..

For those who are interested to read more on it - check out the other links below, ok! =)

Pressie from my dear sis...

WED: 1st October 2008

My sister got me this lovely hair clip from Kokon Tozai, which means Past & Present and East & West in Japanese.

Each of their item is made with Kimono style, fabric or design, in trendy designs and wearable fashion. My sister's choice was a hair clip from the Kimono-Sealed Acrylic Collection.

If you zoom in, you can really see the fabric of the cloth sealed in it! As every part of the cloth is different, even the two sides of the hair clip has a different look.
Really like this! Hee.. Can tell rite, i'm into the Jap culture too.. haha..... So this hair clip is really cool to me! It's just so unique!
"These accessories have kimono fabric sealed within the finest quality of crystal acrylic. Collections include hair accessories, rings, bangles, earrings, cosmetic brushes etc. They crystallize the idea of sealing kimono fabric inside of the best quality crystal acrylic. Since the fabric used in the items are cut from various parts of the kimono, each item is different and unique. "

Birthday Celeb, - the Continuation~! ^^

WED: 1st October 2008
Next was a good yummy dinner @ Two Chefs in Commonwealth with the whole family

The food is good, and the price is reasonable - imagine, 7 of us went to eat, and the bill only came up to just over $100... =P

Went to my Sis's place to play Puerto Rico after dinner. We are all rather into this game at the moment. It is a really engaging game.. You not only need to have a good strategy, you need to be able to adjust accordingly to other players' actions.. =D

"The players are plantation owners in Puerto Rico in the days when ships had sails. Growing up to five different kind of crops: Corn, Indigo, Coffee, Sugar and Tobacco, they must try to run their business more efficiently than their close competitors; growing crops and storing them efficiently, developing San Juan with useful buildings, deploying their colonists to best effect, selling crops at the right time, and most importantly, shipping their goods back to Europe for maximum benefit. "( Boardgamegeek.com)

We had so much fun that we forgot the time and ended up only getting home at 11pm+... (wish the next day didn't need to work.. haaa...)

Had a lovely day with my family today.. Really... Thank you everyone!!

Birthday a-coming~! ^^

SAT: 27th September 2008

The birthday 'week' started off with The Cake - The Mille Crepes.

Classic Cakes in Clementi Arcade, started selling a wonderful cake called Mille Crepes last year - a stack of 20 crepes placed on top of one another, with a vanilla pastry cream holding them together and a caramelised topping.

But for those who want something more exciting, baker Charles Quek has come up
with three variations.

The Chocolate Mille Crepes has thin, floaty flakes of dark chocolate between the crepes. It is ethereal, light and to die for.

Order the Apple Mille Crepes if you don’t like your desserts too rich. The tart
apples add crunch - very refreshing.
Of course, there is a durian version, with pungent, creamy durian filling in
between the pancakes. Like the original, they all cut beautifully.

(Note: This review was extracted from ST Foodies Club)

Other reviews on Classic Cakes:

- their Blackforest Cake is famous too!
It cost us $60 for a 1.5kg cake, but between me & my sis, we figured 2 persons' b'day mah - can la can la.... haha...

It's really yummy -may be a little "jelat" for those who don't really fancy vanilla.. =P Smooth and solid at the same time.. Hee..

My family has become a supporter of Classic Cakes, with my brother-in-law loving the Black Forest Cake,

and we getting the Best Ever Chocolate Cake for my elder sis's b'day... =D
