1. The Pizza Place @ Jurong Point - budget pizza in the west.. Nice thin crust, and lots of toppings!! Hearty meal!

2. Pasta @ Waraku- totally yummilicious!!!!! Can't believe how good the food is - and it's at reasonable prices, averaging $17 for a pasta. I was in heaven from the very first bite!!! My take: the actual food looks even better than the photos on the menu!! Yippee!!! We went to the branch at Marina - the service is good too~ =D

Apparently, it was to break away from the control of the men, and to change their destiny. To break away from the olden "women are baggage to be bartered and sold" mentality.

Most importantly, how did it all come to fruition?

The rise of it: financial independence

Fast forward a few decades, and we see women are choosing not to get married, choosing to work and be swinging singles.

Again, we ask why?

Most say that they don't wish to 'tie' themselves to one person, some to break away from the 'expected' or traditional roles of women.. Some - just want to happy..

The reason may be slightly different, but the cause is the same.. Financial independence.

Seems like there is common ground between women - no matter past or present. This shows too that some issues are still there even after so many years.
